Best place about this hotel is location. It is a quiet street but very very close to the absolute center. Also, if you arrive by car, parking is free just on the streets next to the hotel.
For my dates it was also the cheapest hotel in the city center, so for a longer stay this was a needed point.

Kuressaare Castle is promoted as a top attraction in Estonia...
Kuressaare Castle is promoted as a top attraction in Estonia. I would say that the Castle surrounds were very good, but my man would say only good. Certainly good for many photos. This verdict could be also applied to several renovated timber dwellings in some streets of the town. The retail area has been upgraded and the town generally is becoming gentrified, some might say trendy. Certainly the town thinks it is going upmarket. Restaurant and eatery options are moving towards the aspiring and influencer market, with prices commensurate.
Thus you have a summer place, a weekend or discreet getaway in other seasons as well. There are various opinions that could be made, but for me I found the visit to be worthwhile. My other half views the town and attractions to be generally overrated, and the visit to be rather disappointing.

Kuressaare castle gives interesting insights into the history of Estonia in general, but also the past events of Saaremaa, which are good to know for any traveler to understand the mindset and the attitude of the locals. There are various food options and the town is tiny, so you can get around by foot. Castello Restaurant has a very nice hidden terrace in the back of the restaurant which is very cozy.

Very nice city, not big but pretty.
Very nice city, not big but pretty. We used only a few hours to see all the attractions here and the other time we traveled around Saaremaa island by car. You don't need a lot of time to see the main things.

Great place to visit during summer.
Great place to visit during summer. There were many attractions around the island as we drove to destination, so we stopped along the way. There was a Viking expo at the central church, highly recommended if still available.

Very beautiful and quiet place.
Very beautiful and quiet place. It is recommended to go on weekdays to fully enjoy the peace and beauty. There are many beautiful restaurants in the Old Town with local dishes. Beautiful walking areas and a family-friendly city with children.
Excellent apartment located about 20 mins walk from central Kuressaare.
Quiet area, parking right outside the building, large Maxima food store across the road.
Very comfortable apartment with all the necessary amenities.
Large dinner table which became my workspace for half the day too :)
We arrived on a later ferry, however the host Grazina kindly met us after check in hours to hand over the keys :)
Overall highly recommended, will gladly stay again if ever on Saaremaa island!
Very friendly staff both in the reception and at the breakfast table - made us feel very welcome. We received a free upgrade to the superior room: as we learned on site that the standard rooms are located in a different building (heads up, I did not notice that at the moment of booking), this was very much appreciated. Breakfast is excellent and spa is small yet very cosy, especially when not crowded.
Breakfast was really varied and was great regardless of the time we went there.
The spa (pool and sauna) were really great additions to achieve superb value for money!
Really great location close to the centre of the city, walking distance to all the historical sites.
It’s really great to visit Saaremaa in the off-season, plus being there during Saaremaa food festival was extra special.
The staff was friendly and provided us with what we needed. The location is great, we wanted to celebrate midsummer and the main party was just behind the hotel. It is close to the castle and city center.
Breakfast was very good and filling. We didn't have fridge in the room but we gave our stuff to the reception to keep it in the fridge. Would definitely come back to here in future.
The location was very picturesque with a lovely view across to the castle. The walk in to the centre of Kuressaare was short and very pleasant. The hotel was nicely furnished and the spa was a reasonable size with four sauna type rooms. The hotel restaurant was very good, serving up some quite quirky but delicious combinations of food.
Perfect spacious holiday house with own large yard. Very well equipped with gas bbq grill, outside hot tub, a/c in both bedrooms, automatic coffee and ice cube machines. New house, everything very clean and tidy. Highly recommended, house itself is a reason to visit Kuressaare. We will definitely be back.
The interior of the room and building was very cool, it gave the early 20th century villa vibe. Breakfast was different from usual hotel breakfasts, but I liked it. There were something for every taste. And the location is very good, there was only a 10-minute walk to city center.
Great location, nice hotel, rooms are small but functional. The spa area is small, but really nice, especially enjoyed the outdoor pool.
Highlight was definitely the breakfast, incredibly good selection of food, also a lot of local and home made produce.
Great location near to Kuressaare town and castle. Access to amazing spa, lovely view from balcony. Grocery store across the road. Good restaurant at hotel with the yacht club restaurant within walking distance. Free parking. Spacious rooms. Good wifi.
Good hotel, nice stuff, good but little bit small SPA, during the week when not to much customers SPA is great place where you can relax after active day.Apartment has little kitchen with all stuff you need for cooking
You can park your car safely in front of the hotel building, and everything in Kuressaare is in walking distance.
Rooms and beds were not large, but comfortable for us and served their purpose.
Breakfast was OK.
It was a very nice, charming hotel, a reflection of an overall Kuressaare spirit. Rather basic, but lovely and a great deal. The couple running the place were very nice and accommodating.
